The Process

  1. The Consultation: Past to Present Design envisions the space and discusses the budget.
The consultation is for us to see the space and evaluate what improvements need to be made. This part of the process gives you a chance to explain in detail what you want for your space. You will be asked at this point in the design process to fill out a questionnaire about how you use your space and what your style preferences are. Also at this stage we will discus the budget for the project.
  2. The Conceptualization: Past to Present Design explains the design concept.
After the consultation we will come up with a concept that will include colors, sketches, materials, and furniture styles to portray how the overall project will look and function. At this stage in the process we will make sure that the overall concept is up to your standards.
  3. The Presentation: Past to Present Design presents the room design.
After we confirm that the concept is a perfect fit for you, we will complete the design process and present detailed drawings, space plans, and samples to you. The presentation will be a tool for us to fully explain and for you to fully visualize all the details of the design in your space. During the presentation we will address your questions and concerns about the design, the process, and your space.
  4. The Execution: Past to Present Design team brings the concept to life!
This stage is where our design concept comes to life. Color is applied, construction commences, furniture and accessories are put into place and at the end of the process you will have the perfect blend of form and function for you to enjoy everyday.
